Hello Stars!
My name is Krystle Smith and I am the school counselor at Silverlake Elementary.
My goal is to support your child's growth academically, emotionally and socially. I teach classroom guidance lessons using our PurposeFull People-CharacterStrong curriculum as well as the ChildBuilders "Stay Strong - Stay Safe" anti-victimization program for elementary students.
In addition, I meet with students in small groups or one-on-one to address more specific needs such as making friends, managing anger, coping with anxiety, and more. Students are referred to me by their teachers or parents/guardians for individual or group counseling.
